This is rough time regarding our economy and having to host a prom party.  I want my daughter and her friends to have a great time on their special day, but I don’t want to go further into debt either. I’ve learned that you can purchase discount prom favors or cheap prom favors, which will help save some money.  When it comes to garters you can use either a prom garter or a wedding garter, whichever is the best deal.  Talk to some of the other mother’s to see how they do it and do some research and hopefully you can still host the party and not feel like you are adding to your debt level.  I promised my sister that I would help her with my niece’s wedding favors. I think we will try to make something ourselves - that will help cut the cost as well.

I wanted an expensive looking wedding frame for my wedding picture.  Notice I said expensive looking, not expensive.  So I checked out as many discount picture frames as I could find and there were several beautiful wedding frames to choose from. I also lucked out with wedding favors because they had very adorable little photo frame favors that worked out perfectly as gifts for my friends and family.  I’m glad I decided to shop around.

They gave me such a wonderful girls night out party that I felt I had to do something special for them too.  So I made sure when everyone at the reception got their wedding favors that my close friends got extra special gifts.  They worked so hard on my girls night out celebration, with all the girls night out invitations, decorations and terrific party favors, that I wanted to show them how much I appreciated it.

My guests are worth the best in wedding favors, so I’m giving them personalized favors with their names printed on them, and I’m considering using personalized wedding favor tags, although the personalized wedding favor boxes are really lovely.  I’m not sure which I’ll go with, but I do know one thing for sure, our friends and families are getting unique personalized wedding favors as thank you gifts.

I also found asian wedding invitations that I feel in love with. My shower and wedding turned out so beautiful and elegant. I am so glad that I went with the asian theme.

The lady that was taking care of planning two baby showers at the same time kinda got her wires crossed. She planned everything with great detail, beautiful little baby keepsake gifts packaged in little blue boxes and several gifts favors for the game prizes.  The keepsakes gifts were precious and the favors and gifts for the prizes were too.  The only problem was the fact that she got the favors mixed up and this particular mother to be was having a girl.  The mother to be that was having the boy, got all the pink packages.  She also plans wedding receptions.  Wonder if the wedding favors ever went to the wrong reception hall.

I looked at a lot of photo coasters trying to find the perfect wedding favors gift for our guests and I think I’ve found it.  Not only are these forever photo coaster sets perfect for our guests but they also match the theme for our wedding.  I chose the personalized photo coaster because I felt it meant a little more to have everyones name on them instead of just a plain photo coaster gift.  Apparently I was right, everyone commented on how sweet it was to personalize each gift.  I have a winner.

I couldn’t believe all the favor boxes they had to choose from.  There are beautiful winter wedding favor boxes with cute little snowflakes on them, and some pretty fantastic favors boxes for a beach wedding too.  Lots of different styles and designs for party favor boxes, and not just for weddings.  That’s where I got my baby shower favors boxes for my sisters shower.  I always shop online, it’s so much easier and convenient.

Who doesn’t love decorating using the wedding bell theme?  I was talking to my bridesmaids and they told me that their new husbands loved shopping for wedding bells.  When I heard that I got excited.  I was hoping my fiance would feel the same way.  When I brought up the plan to pick out some decorations together, which were wedding bells, the first thing he said was, ”I like the silver wedding bells“.  I told him that I like them too.  Hurray we agreed so easily.  We were at this great place that sold cheap wedding bell favors.  Now that put a smile on both of our faces.  Any time we can save some money on our wedding budget, we see that as a way to perhaps have a little more fun on our honeymoon, if you know what I mean.  So next thing took a look at was their selection of cheap wedding bells.  They were cheap in price, but made very nicely and will look lovely as part of our wedding decorations, on our wedding day. We actually accomplished two things at one store.  We bought our decorations and wedding favors, while saving time and money.  Now that’s the way to work together as a couple.

When I was helping one of my friends plan her baby shower, I helped her pick out some great baby thank you cards. And as we were shopping, we found some great thank you favors that were as pretty as her wedding favors. She enjoyed buying the thank you cards and adding her personalized thank you to each of the cards.
